Job description

● Support the Established Products Operations (EPO) technical functions worldwide. Support manufacturing and analytical activities and resolve manufacturing or analytical issues in projects dealing with EPO products.
● Conduct studies under the direction of a more senior scientist. Complete lab work as required, including planning, experiments, data analysis, summaries, notebook records and maintenance of a safe and clean laboratory.
● Make technical and written contributions to technical development and justification reports.
● Technical Expert in application of new analytical methods (e.g. HPLC, GC, KF). Test method application and troubleshooting of existing analytical methods to support analytical reference standards.

Job requirements

● You are supporting analytical activities to support our Established Products.
● Plan, design and coordinate your daily analytical activities during projects and update internal stakeholders
● Execute complex method applications
● Utilize instrumentation / equipment and may assist with recognition and resolution of technical problems.
● Co-author technical reports.

Abbott generates over 450 pharmaceutical products of which the top 20-30 products are centrally supported by the Science and Technology (S&T) organization to maximize their growth by making use of advanced knowledge in science and technology and product expertise in a cross collaborative working model.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
