As Business Analyst Ecommerce you’ll be part of the multi-disciplinary ecommerce team (20+ FTE and growing) consisting of a.o. Product Managers, Trade Marketers and Project Managers.
Samsung as an organization has a multi-disciplinary structure to realize a short time-to-market. This means colleagues from various disciplines work together on everything that is related to the online shop, like; finance, legal, risk, development, operations, service & support, testers etc. The external platform and service providers also play an important role.

You are responsible for:

  • Platform Operation, It’s your job to keep the platform operational and make sure the business continues. When issues occur you immediately take action and get all necessary parties involved to get it fixed;
  • Together with other business teams you are responsible for creating the local platform roadmap based on the global roadmap. You will create the business case and requirements for new features and make sure they are planned on the roadmap;
  • Third Party Service Providers, aligning with both external parties to ensure business continuity and identify bottlenecks/business opportunities.

Job requirements

  • You have a bachelor or master degree (in the area of Computer Science/Ecommerce);
  • You have experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT);
  • You have Knowledge about various interfaces (XML, API etc.);
  • You have 3-5 years work experience in a similar role.

Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
