About the job

Looking for a challenging job as a CNC Machine operator with many career opportunities and a contract from the customer quickly? That's great because at Scheuten glass in Venlo they offer you this opportunity! This year, 20 flex workers have already been taken over on a Scheuten contract. The team leaders also started out as temporary workers.

There is room for new flexible colleagues at several processing stations. The production line is largely automated. The glass comes in large sheets of 6.00 x 3.21 meters. They are cut, washed and further processed into insulating glass. And so an insulated pane is created at the end of the line, which is sent by forwarding to a satisfied customer.

Despite the automation, you are indispensable as a CNC machine operator. There are still activities that are done manually, because a machine cannot take over everything. In addition, you ensure that the machine is set up and adjusted and you identify malfunctions that you will solve yourself or with the help of a colleague. Another very important aspect within the insulating glass department is quality control. We are talking about a high-quality product here, so it's your job to make sure the insulating glass meets the customer's requirements.

At Scheuten glass there is also a nice bonus scheme for all employees. Every quarter an extra amount is paid which can amount to € 2500 gross on an annual basis

Job requirements

Let your curiosity take over and get to know all the workstations. That's what makes it so much fun and you also make yourself indispensable.
It is not so important that you have a specific education or work experience. A correct attitude to work and the eagerness to learn new things, that makes us enthusiastic. We cannot escape a few basic conditions, which are the following:

  • You have a good knowledge of Dutch / German / English or Polish language;
  • You have knowledge of (working with) computers;
  • You are willing to work full-time in 3 shifts.

What we offer

You earn EUR 2325 including shift allowance for working in 3-shifts based on 38 hours per week. That is €12.02 per hour with a shift allowance of 17.5% per hour worked.

As of September 1, your salary will be increased by 1% due to a wage increase. Every year in January you also go up a step in the pay scale. A good travel allowance will also not be missing. At Scheuten glass there is also a nice bonus scheme for all employees. Every quarter an extra amount is paid which can amount to € 2500 gross on an annual basis!

You are part of a permanent team and because of this you work with the same team leader and colleagues every day. A week of early shift, a week of afternoon shift and a week of night shift. At many companies you have to wait and see what your planning looks like every week. That is not the case with Scheuten. Your schedule is already known for the whole year, so you can also combine private and work.

During the summer holidays, everyone always has 2 weeks off in the construction industry. How delicious is that? They are also closed between Christmas and New Years, so you can enjoy a well-deserved holiday with family or friends.
