A job as warehouse employee? Yes, a job as warehouse employee! Are you looking for a great job in the logistics, but you can’t work in shifts? Then this is the job for you! For our client ID Logistics, we are looking for new employees who can work in dayshift from Monday to Friday (08:00-17:00).

You will have different tasks and therefore no day will look the same! You can think of tasks such as:

  • Picking orders with a trolley (and hand scanner);
  • Activities such as stickering, wrapping and packing the orders;
  • Preparing the orders for shipment;
  • Replenishing the stock locations in the right way;
  • Counting inventory locations;
  • Loading and unloading incoming containers;
  • Checking the orders before they leave the warehouse

  • You are fulltime available in dayshift from 08:00 till 17:00;
  • You are looking for a stable and serious job with career opportunities;
  • You speak and understand the English language;
  • You are physically able to perform standing work all day;
  • You are able to come to the location yourself by bike or car (location is not easily accessible by public transport);
  • You are motivated to work and reliable, because the customers depend on you!

About the company

You will work for our big client ID Logistics in Tilburg. IDL is a logistic service provider that offers a lot of logistic solutions for big brands all over the world. The company has several large locations in Europe and with no less than 7 branches in the Netherlands. Here they take care of the complete distribution for brands such as Media Markt, Sony, Makro, Intratuin and Nespresso (but there are even more big brands that they work with!).

In Tilburg you will work in the warehouse for Fujifilm at Hermesstraat 1. This location is easily accessible by car from Den Bosch, Waalwijk and surrounding areas!

What we offer

In this position we offer you;

  • A fulltime (40 hours) job in dayshift for a longer period;
  • A workweek from Monday to Friday, so the weekends are for yourself!
  • An hourly wage of €10,98.
  • If you work as a reach-or forklift driver you will earn more money!
  • Travel costs from 10km one way (with a maximum of €6,42 per day);
  • You start with a temporary contract with a view to a permanent employment at IDL;
  • The choice to get a weekly or 4-weekly payment (on Friday);
  • The opportunity to get your license for EPT, Reach or Forklift.

If you work via Start People it is possible to, I some cases,  use one of our collective health insurance policies. However, if you want to stay in The Netherlands for a longer period of time, we advise you to arrange health insurance yourself.  
Some companies we work with only offer day shifts, but the most companies offer several shifts (morning-, day and night shifts). It is often not possible to work structurally in one specific shift.
Unfortunately, one of these three languages is required to find a job via Start People. It is important that you can communicate with our colleagues and your manager at work.
Yes, you can choose between a weekly or a 4-weekly payment of your salary.
If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
