For our client ID Logistics in Den Bosch, we are looking for orderpickers. As an orderpicker you will work for the Intratuin stores and together with your colleagues you will be the center of the logistics process. It is your responsibility to supply the stores with the right ordered products. As soon as the products have been delivered by the supplier, you and your colleagues will distribute the items over various pallets and also wrap them in plastic. When this is completed, a colleague will prepare the products for transport with the help of an EPT. During this process you never stand still and no day looks the same!

You will work in a dynamic environment where you will work in two shifts. The working hours are From Monday to Friday from 05:45-14:45 and 15:15-00:15.

Job requirements

  • You are available full-time in 2 shifts (05:45-14:45 and 15:15-00:15);
  • You master the English language;
  • You are able to perform physical work, because you stand all day and pack (also) large / heavy products (together with your colleague);
  • You are in possession of your own transport and are able to get to the location yourself;
  • You are available on short notice and for a longer period of time;
  • You are a team player and can work both in a team and independently;
  • You are precise and know how to tackle, because your contribution is crucial in this process! Thanks to you, the right order ends up with the customer.

About the company

ID Logistics is a major logistics and international player and exists 20 years! The company has several locations within the Netherlands, but also the rest of Europe and has the ambitions to become even bigger and more famous. You will work at the new and modern location in Den Bosch. Here, in October last year, a new warehouse was built for the distribution activity for Intratuin, which has about 67 stores in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The products you will work with for Intratuin include tools, home accessories, pet supplies and garden furniture.

What we offer

  • A full-time job in 2 shifts (05:45-14:45 and 15:15-00:15);
  • A gross hourly wage of €10.98. This is supplemented by a surcharge of 20% after 18:00. This together makes a net monthly salary of +/- €1760.
  • No experience? No problem! You will be guided by a buddy for the first few weeks until you can work independently and after that, you get the total freedom to take on your tasks and responsibilities in your own way!
  • A job with the prospect of a contract for an indefinite period with the client IDL (after you finish your buddy trajectory positive);
  • Career opportunities to get a Reach or Forklift license;
  • You will work in a close-knit team with about 35/40 colleagues;
  • You will receive a travel allowance from 10km one way. Maximum daily allowance €6.42;
  • The choice to be paid weekly or 4-weekly;

Yes, we are a member of ABU: the branch organization of the temporary employment sector. This organization guarantees that its members act according to the Dutch law.

If you work via Start People it is possible to, I some cases,  use one of our collective health insurance policies. However, if you want to stay in The Netherlands for a longer period of time, we advise you to arrange health insurance yourself.  
Some companies we work with only offer day shifts, but the most companies offer several shifts (morning-, day and night shifts). It is often not possible to work structurally in one specific shift.
Unfortunately, one of these three languages is required to find a job via Start People. It is important that you can communicate with our colleagues and your manager at work.
Yes, you can choose between a weekly or a 4-weekly payment of your salary.
If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. For more information, visit the website of the City where you live or visit www.burgerservicenummer.nl.

If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
