About the job

As a productionemployee at Recticel, you are part of a team. Your are ensuring that the productionprocess of foam (for instance to make matrasses) is going well. Your responsibilities are, for instance, cutting the foam in the right shape. Gluing the different layers of foam together for the matrasses or making sure that the matrasses are getting the right brand are also important parts of the process. It's also possible to put the matrasses ready for transport.

Job requirements

We are looking for the following requirements:

  • You are at least 4 days per week available.
  • You are able to work in 2 shifts (06:00-14:05 and14:05-22:10).
  • You are living in the area of Nijmegen-Arnhem-Tiel.
  • You have your own transportation (unfortunately you cannot arrive there in time with public transport)
  • You are able to work acurately.
  • You are able to read the safety instrucitions (so speaking and reading English is very important).

About the company

Recticel B.V. is located in Kesteren (near Tiel) and develops, produces, and sells polyurethan foam. A great part of the semi-finished products en endproducts is being delivered to various Recticel shops. The foam is being used for matrasses. Also, there are various clients outside the Netherlands that are interested in big blocks of foam for their endproducts. Recticel N.V. is the 'mother organisation' for all the production activities in the Netherlands. The international headquarters of Recticel is located in Brussels.

What we offer

We are offering you a parttime job as a production employee. We offer you a flexcontract with the possibility to get a contract at Recticel.

The payment per hours is €10,52 + 2,36% for ADV .
Moreover you will get a shift work allowance of 13%.
So, alltogether, this makes the payment per hour €12,14.
You will also recieve 25 vacaton days per year, when you work fulltime and 8,33% vacation money.

Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. For more information, visit the website of the City where you live or visit www.burgerservicenummer.nl.

If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
In The Netherlands, it is not allowed to charge money for job placement services. Therefore, our services are free.
