About the job

We need some full-time production employees for Recticel in Kesteren. With your team you are responsible for the production of the mattresses. Every day you work together with 25 other employees. That is the reason why teamspirit is very important at Recticel! Have you always wanted to work in productioncompany in a warehouse? Then we are looking for you!

Recticel produceses 26m big blocks of foam. When the foamblocks are made, they must be cut in smaller sizes and layers. After that the mattresses are assembled and will receive a final treatment. This all is done at the departments linear cutting, converting and assembly. This is were we need you!

You will perform various activities:

  • checking materials for quality;
  • setting of tools / equipment / machines and checking the operation;
  • performing assembly activities;
  • input and processing of materials;
  • internal transportation with a EPT. .

Job requirements

  • You want to work in a 2-shift team for at least 3 days a week;
  • You are 18 years or older;
  • You want to work together, teamplayer
  • You speak English or Dutch;
  • You want to learn and improve your productionskills;
  • In addition, it is important that you can follow safety rules and regulations.
  • Drive license or car to come over here.

The shifts are from 06:00 till 14:05 and 14:05 till 22:10 h. Besides the normal workweek Recticel will work sometimes on a Saturday. This is not obligated.
When it is realy busy we will add an 3th shift, the night shift. This is probaly the case in January.

About the company

Recticel B.V. develops, produces, processes and sells polyurethane foam. Recticel is an international company but the only company in the Netherlands. The foam is processed into mattresscores and complete mattresses. In addition, there are customers at home and abroad who purchase foam blocks. A large part of the semi-finished and finished products is supplied to other Recticel locations. Recticel is in Kesteren. It is easily accessible from Veenendaal, Rhenen, Opheusden, Dodewaard, Wageningen and others. It is located along the A15 exit.
The months January and February will be very busy in here. Recticel does a lot of training on the job. Always wanted to be an operator? This is the job for you. Do you want to get your forkliftlicence? Start People will help you.

You will work always in a team, the teams are around 25 people. You will work every shift with your team.
It is not possible to come with public transportation. The shifts start to early for that.

Recticel is an international company and we all speak in English as well.

Yes, we are a member of ABU: the branch organization of the temporary employment sector. This organization guarantees that its members act according to the Dutch law.

If you work via Start People it is possible to, I some cases,  use one of our collective health insurance policies. However, if you want to stay in The Netherlands for a longer period of time, we advise you to arrange health insurance yourself.  
Some companies we work with only offer day shifts, but the most companies offer several shifts (morning-, day and night shifts). It is often not possible to work structurally in one specific shift.
Unfortunately, one of these three languages is required to find a job via Start People. It is important that you can communicate with our colleagues and your manager at work.
Yes, you can choose between a weekly or a 4-weekly payment of your salary.
If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. For more information, visit the website of the City where you live or visit www.burgerservicenummer.nl.

If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
In The Netherlands, it is not allowed to charge money for job placement services. Therefore, our services are free.
