Start People is looking for you! For our growing client ID Logistics in Den Bosch, we are looking for warehouse employees to expand the current team. It concerns a position as a warehouse employee (orderpicker), where you work from Monday to Friday in two shifts. Working hours are from 05:45 to 14:45 and from 15:15 to 00:15. Every week you will switch between these shifts and in the weekend you are free!

As a warehouse employee you are part of a team of motivated people. You contribute to the optimal running of all goods in the warehouse and you do this both independently and with your colleagues. You have a wide and varied range of tasks, but what does your working day look like?
After you've come in, clocked in and chatted a little bit with your colleagues, you'll get to work! Once the products have been brought in the warehouse by the supplier, you will divide and sort the items over various pallets. Here you will use a hand scanner. In addition to this task, you can also be asked to pack, sticker and seal the orders.

Once this is ready, the items go to the Outbound department (using an EPT), where the orders are ready to leave the warehouse. You are an indispensable link in this process, because thanks to your input, the right item ends up with the customer!

For this position it is important that you recognize yourself in the profile below:

  • You are at least 18 years old;
  • You are an enthusiastic, motivated worker and can work under pressure (during seasonal peaks);
  • You speak both Dutch and English;
  • You are available 40 hours per week in 2 shifts (05:45-14:45 and 15:15-00:15);
  • You are able to perform physical work (you do not stand still during your working day);
  • You have your own transport.

You will work for a large logistics company called ID Logistics. This is a well-known player in the field of logistics services and exists 20 years. ID Logistics has had several locations in the Netherlands for a number of years, such as in Den Bosch, Tilburg and Amsterdam. In addition, the company also has branches in Europe, Asia, Africa and America and is therefore a fast-growing company!

You will come to work in the warehouse located in Den Bosch. This warehouse opened her doors in 2020, which means that you will be working in a new and modern building! Here the customer Intratuin is supplied and served. Intratuin has 67 stores in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany and sells products such as home and garden accessories and pet supplies.

Within ID Logistics, it distinguishes itself from its competitors because there is an informal atmosphere. ID Logistics attaches great importance to transparency and therefore the lines with management are short.

The warehouse is easily accessible by car from Waalwijk, Oss and Veghel.

What we offer

In this position we offer you a varied job where you are responsible for the end result together with your colleagues. It is a position with opportunities to grow and develop further within the company. Think of passing for an EPT, Forklift or Reachtruck certificate.

  • You will receive a salary of at least € 1800 gross per month (based on40 hours). In addition, you will receive a 20% surcharge after 18:00 and 40% between 00:00 and 06:00. All this together makes a gross monthly salary of +/- € 2200, -
  • In addition, you will receive 25 vacation days per year and 8.33% vacation money;
  • A full-time position for a longer period;
  • Don't live around the corner? Then you will receive travel expenses from 10 km one way (max. daily allowance € 6.42, -)
  • The possiblilty to get a permanent contract after 6 months with ID Logistics;
  • Pension accrual after 26 weeks of working;
  • The choice of a weekly or four weekly payment;
  • Free parking in front of the building.

Yes, you can choose between a weekly or a 4-weekly payment of your salary.
If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. For more information, visit the website of the City where you live or visit www.burgerservicenummer.nl.

If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
