About the job

For a company in Enschede are we looking for parttime or fulltime customer service representatives! In this job you are going to help people with their technical questions about products that people have bought. You will get a training before you start working so that you know everything about the products. You will help customers with questions coming in via telephone, e-mail or chat. In this function you don't need to sell anything!

You are going to work in a dynamic and international environment. So therefore it is important that you can stay calm, even when the customer does not!

The workingtimes are between 08.00 and 20.00. So it is important that you are available to work evenings and alternate weekends (only the Saturday). So it is an ideal job to combine with other activities or school!

At this moment, we are looking for people with the following native languages:

  • German (minimum of 16 hours per week)
  • Dutch with second language English
  • Portugees (32 hours per week)

Beside your native language, you also must speak, write en listen in Englisch. So Dutch is not a requirement!

The next training starts in August. Of course you get the training paid as working hours.

Job requirements

  • Knowledge of your native language and English as a second language, both spoken and in writing.
  • A realy nice workplace in the area of Enschede; so you must live nearby Enschede to be in the office.
  • Depending on the language you are at least 16 hours availabe; Fulltime or parttime work.
  • At least a higher professional education (HBO) degree either finished or in progress.
  • You are flexible with your working hours, making you available for work in weekends and in the evening if needed.

If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
