Are you looking for a position in which you can combine you analytical and communicative skills? Then the job of Inventory Control Employee for an international marketleader might be something for you!

As Inventory Controller you will make an important contribution to the stock accuracy and thus the efficiency within the Warehouse.

Your tasks will consist of:

  • Initiating and organizing daily stock checks, counts;
  • Pro-actively scans system stock and order processing to detect stock irregularities;
  • Performs ABC analysis of inventories and advises management on related improvements in warehouse layout, movement of fast and slow movers and advises on order routes;
  • Cause analyses of inaccuracies and suggests corrective actions;
  • Creates and improves management reports showing inventory levels, count results, error categories and root causes of inaccuracies;
  • Initiates process and system improvements to reduce the likelihood of inventory inaccuracies;
  • Support Team Leaders and Warehouse Managers regarding validation of customer complaints;
  • Liaise with planning as necessary to investigate or identify an inventory problem;

Job requirements

  • MBO+/HBO level and some years experience in a similar job;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Dealing with various (ERP) systems including SAP;
  • Understands connections in processes and can make the direct link to SAP;
  • Knowledge of logistical processes;
  • Good command of the English or Dutch language ;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.

Our client is located in Boxmeer and is a leading supplier of advanced processing systems and services within the poultry, (red) meat and fish industry. The organization is easy to reach with your own transport from, for example, Nijmegen, Venray, Venlo or even from Goch or Kleve. It is also no problem with public transport, because the location is within walking distance of the station in Boxmeer.

What we offer

A full-time position with a view to permanent employment with an international market leader!

The salary indication is € 2833 - € 3221 gross per month on a full-time basis (including ADV compensation).

This is supplemented with 25 vacation days, 8.33% vacation pay and a travel allowance of € 0.19 per kilometre.

Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
