“I've been working with RGIS for several weeks now and I'm really enjoying it! The work is easy to combine with my studies and other activities. I also work together with my friends, so it's always fun. Every service is different, because we end up at all kinds of retail outlets in the Netherlands. Today we gather at 4:00 PM at the meeting point at Eindhoven central station. We leave for the client together with the team. This time it's the ICI Paris in Utrecht. Here we are going to count the stock of the store. It is always pleasant in the bus and it is very nice that transport is always arranged. My travel time will also be reimbursed after the first 30 minutes. Once arrived, the scanners are handed out and everyone is assigned a corridor. After that, we'll get started. It is always hard work, but because of the nice working atmosphere, productivity comes naturally! In between we have a break, after which we finish the count. After a lot of hard work we are done. Everyone packs up their stuff and we all go back to the meeting point in Eindhoven. I'll be back home around 9pm. I counted about 4.5 hours and also received one hour and 20 minutes of travel time allowance. Nice cash and nice colleagues!"

Job requirements

  • You speak Dutch and/or English well;
  • You are at least 18 years old due to the late working hours that may occur;
  • You live in the Eindhoven area (maximum 20 minutes by bike from Central Station);
  • You are available at least 2 days a week and 1 day at the weekend and you don't mind working in the afternoon and evening;
  • You are available between 12:00 and 00:00. between these times you will be scheduled for 4 to 5 hours per shift.

As a stock counter you will work at our partner RGIS. This is a worldwide operating organization, with a specialization in performing balance sheets (counts) at the best companies. What we offer

  • A contract for a definite period of time (contract voor bepaalde tijd);
  • A permanent (part-time) job for a longer period of time, for 8 to 20 hours a week;
  • You also accrue holiday pay (8%) and holiday hours (10%) and you receive a travel time allowance of €7.65 per hour;
  • The option to choose whether you want to be paid weekly or once every four weeks;
  • A salary of €11 per hour if you are 21 years or older with career opportunities in salary up to €13 per hour.

Yes, we are a member of ABU: the branch organization of the temporary employment sector. This organization guarantees that its members act according to the Dutch law. 
You are more than welcome at our office in Venlo, where our recruiters can talk to you in either Dutch, English, German and/or Polish.
If you work via Start People it is possible to, I some cases,  use one of our collective health insurance policies. However, if you want to stay in The Netherlands for a longer period of time, we advise you to arrange health insurance yourself.  
Some companies we work with only offer day shifts, but the most companies offer several shifts (morning-, day and night shifts). It is often not possible to work structurally in one specific shift.
Unfortunately, one of these three languages is required to find a job via Start People. It is important that you can communicate with our colleagues and your manager at work.
Yes, you can choose between a weekly or a 4-weekly payment of your salary.
If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
