Are you interested in a flexible part time job for at least 16 hours a week? Do you want a job that you can combine with your studies or other activities? Can you count well? Then keep reading!

As an inventory employee you will gather with your colleagues around 12:00 in the afternoon at Maastricht railway station. From here you will travel to various stores or warehouses in the country. Here you will count the inventory with the RGIS scanners. We arrange transportation from Maastricht. If the journey is longer than 30 minutes, you will also be paid for the time you spend in the bus! Upon arrival, the team leader will direct you to start counting the correct aisles.

Job requirements

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are reliable and customer friendly
  • You are available at least 2 days per week, at least one weekday + Saturday or two weekdays
  • You are available at least between 12.00 and 00.00, in addition, you may specify mornings
  • You can work accurately and quickly
  • You live in the city of the meeting point or at most 20 minutes cycling distance
  • You speak good Dutch and/or English
  • You are physically fit (because of prolonged standing and moving heavy products or boxes)
  • You are available for a minimum of 5 months

Our client is a global organization, specialized in performing balances (counts) at various stores. It is a growing organization, where we are looking for new employees for our location in Maastricht.

What we offer


  • A permanent job for an indefinite period of time, for at least 2 days a week or more

  • An hourly wage based on age and counting speed. From 11 to 13 euros per hour for 21 +
  • A projectcontract for longer term;
  • You build up vacation pay (8,33%) in addition to vacation hours (10%) and to top it all off you receive a net travel time allowance of €7,65 per hour.

Yes, we are a member of ABU: the branch organization of the temporary employment sector. This organization guarantees that its members act according to the Dutch law. 
You are more than welcome at our office in Venlo, where our recruiters can talk to you in either Dutch, English, German and/or Polish.

Yes, you can choose between a weekly or a 4-weekly payment of your salary.
If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
