We are looking for logistics employees for the warehouse of Media Markt.
Is it no problem for you to come to the location in Etten-Leur and do you want to help with Media Markt's logistics process? Then we are looking for you!

In the warehouse you will work as an order picker. This is possible in different departments, so you can help pick the orders of the customers of Media Markt, but the orders for the stores of Media Markt also have to be picked. As an order picker you take care of Media Markt's logistic process and you are the one who ensures that customers receive the correct orders and that they also receive them on time.

The warehouse mainly works in two shifts. The shift times vary per department, the shift times are as follows:

  • 06:00 to 15:00 and from 15:00 to 00:00.
  • 08:00 to 17:00 and from 14:00 to 22:00.
  • 07:00 to 16:00 and from 16:00 to 01:00

Because Media Markt participates in certain promotions, such as Black Friday, VAT holidays, etc., it is very busy in the warehouse in some periods. Flexibility is then greatly appreciated by ID Logistics.

A certificate or experience with the forklift, reach truck or EPT is an advantage, but there are also possibilities to pick the orders by hand. It is therefore not
mandatory to have experience/valid certificates.

About the company

You will be working for ID Logistics on location in Etten-Leur. ID Logistics has two warehouses here, namely the Media Markt warehouse and the Emesa warehouse, better known as Vakantieveilingen. The company has various branches in the Netherlands, they are located in Etten-Leur, Tilburg, Den Bosch and Amsterdam.

ID Logistics takes care of the logistics process of customers, such as: Media Markt, Nespresso, Makro, Intratuin etc.
At the workplace there is an informal working atmosphere and you will work in a team full of helpful and enthusiastic colleagues.

What we offer

We can offer you the following:

  • A gross hourly wage of €10.98 (excluding allowances);
  • If you are in possession of a valid certificate, a gross hourly wage of €11.53 (excluding allowances);
  • After 18:00 a surcharge of 20% and after 00:00 a surcharge of 40%;
  • Travel costs from 10 km one way;
  • Opportunities for training at the EPT, for example;
  • A full-time position for 40 hours a week;
  • Work within a team of fun and helpful colleagues.

If you work via Start People it is possible to, I some cases,  use one of our collective health insurance policies. However, if you want to stay in The Netherlands for a longer period of time, we advise you to arrange health insurance yourself.  
Some companies we work with only offer day shifts, but the most companies offer several shifts (morning-, day and night shifts). It is often not possible to work structurally in one specific shift.
Unfortunately, one of these three languages is required to find a job via Start People. It is important that you can communicate with our colleagues and your manager at work.
Yes, you can choose between a weekly or a 4-weekly payment of your salary.
If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. For more information, visit the website of the City where you live or visit www.burgerservicenummer.nl.

If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
