For a pharmaceutical organization in Breda we are looking for a passionate, well-informed, coachable and self-reflective employee for the position of delegate manual line operator. The new delegate manual line operator is willing to work in a manual line and has experience with LEAN production principles. You are also the employee who wants to prevent waste in the production process and also proactively provides input for this. In addition, you see yourself working in a challenging environment and enjoy working with your team.

You as the new employee Delegate Manual line operator take responsibility for the following tasks:

  • Running a production line according to operational procedures;
  • Collaborate and communicate constructively with other operators and line leaders;
  • Quality and performance oriented;
  • Looking for improvement and efficiency in and around work processes;
  • Provide escalation if necessary;
  • Take ownership of all tasks and results;
  • Actively participate in the transfer process in line;
  • Checks whether all training courses have been followed according to the deadlines;
  • In addition, you will act as a backup for line lead during his / her absence;
  • Responsible for team performance by ensuring high safety and quality standards;
  • Measure output performance targets and drive productivity in the assigned team;
  • Facilitating, coaching and developing personnel in the relevant team;
  • Organize and lead team meetings, shift transfers;
  • Owner of planning & organization (time, personnel, lines, materials, equipment), keeps the helicopter view of the line;
  • Takes appropriate measures in case of line problems to achieve planned performance;
  • Divides work / tasks by giving clear guidance and instructions to staff and temporary workers.

Job requirements

You are the ideal candidate if you at least meet the following requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in production environment (preferably pharmacy, GMP / GDP environment);
  • Has experience with standard operating procedures;
  • Has experience in a multicultural environment;
  • Preferably experience with SAP / MES;
  • Has experience in leadership;
  • Minimum MBO (level 2);
  • Vapro A is an advantage:
  • Good command of the English language;

For this position you have at least the following qualities:

  • Team player;
  • Efficient and accurate;
  • Structured;
  • Clear in communication;
  • Knowledge of production processes;
  • Flexible.

You will work in the production department on a manual line with about 10 other colleagues.
You will be working in 2 shifts in a 5 day schedule.
In this department they work according to standard working principles with which they ensure safety, quality delivery, inventory and performance.

What we offer

If you start working as a Delegate Manual line operator, we can offer the following things:

  • Contract for 1 year, with a view to extension;
  • Full-time position for 40 hours a week;
  • Gross monthly salary between € 2600 and € 3200;
  • Excellent experience within an international pharmaceutical organization;

Yes, you can choose between a weekly or a 4-weekly payment of your salary.
If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
