For our Client Samsung we are looking for a Marketing Planner. The Marketing Planner will ensure a correct European marketing expense management, vendor management, and marketing calendar and performance management process according to the guidelines of the organisation in order to achieve an optimal company result.
In this role you will have the following responsibilities:
Marketing Expense Management
Prepare and coordinate monthly European marketing expense forecasting for central and local teams as part of the Target Planning process. Collect and process data, validate and follow up on actual marketing expenses against forecast plan. Prepare monthly analytics dashboard on market, campaign and activity level and advise Head of Corporate Marketing on results and improvement opportunities. Work closely together with Control and Sales Planning to ensure correct and complete workflow management and data integrity.
Marketing Calendar and Performance Management
Oversee and coordinate the European Master Marketing Activity Calendar, integrating calendars of central and local teams, and act as the marketing planning gatekeeper. Work together with Digital Experience Lead and Marketing Communications Manager to measure and report Marketing KPIs, and advise on results and improvement opportunities.
Marketing Activity and Vendor Management
Coordinate and execute the daily marketing expense process operation for the Central Marketing team and oversee the total process of Marketing Plan Proposals, Purchase Orders and Payment Requests for centrally initiated marketing activities, in compliance with Samsung guidelines. Ensure correct usage, processing and approval of marketing expense and vendor templates. Assist local teams in streamlining marketing activities by correctly applying the Samsung processes, and ensure that deadlines are met. Obtain accurate and complete information from marketing vendors, and train them in following correct Samsung procedures to ensure a smooth workflow.
External and Division Meetings
Attend Marketing team meeting, European Marketing meeting and meetings with other functional teams regarding relevant marketing activities. Establish and manage the relationships with marketing vendors and local marketing teams.
