Can you read technical drawings and do you have experience as a mechanic or assembly technician?
Then we can offer you a fulltime job with perspective of a permanent contract at a growing high-tech organization in Nijmegen!

You will work in the cleanroom together with your colleagues and together you are responsible for building various gas and pipeline systems based on drawings, parts lists and technical documents. You also carry out the final check on your work, so that colleagues are assured of a qualitative and exactly fitting part, which can then be processed in the next step.

The work is technically challenging and varied, because it concerns both making new products and building for serial projects!

Job requirements

  • You have a technical education MBO level;
  • You have experience with mechanical (precision) assembly work;
  • Experience in a high tech environment is a plus;
  • You can work in 2-shifts;
  • Furthermore, you can read technical drawings;
  • Finally, you have a good command of the Dutch or English language orally and in writing.

You will work at a growing high-tech organization in Nijmegen. The organization specializes in the design, manufacture and installation of high-tech piping systems for the transport of gases and chemicals. The customers are mainly in the semiconductor, aerospace, pharmaceutical, solar and food industries. The organization is characterized by the most modern techniques, an informal working atmosphere and talent development.

What we offer

A challenging full-time position with a lot of responsibility and the prospect of permanent employment.

The salary depends on age and experience. € 2709 - € 3123 gross per month on a full-time basis (including shift allowance).

In addition, you will receive 25 vacation days and travel allowance.

Yes, we are a member of ABU: the branch organization of the temporary employment sector. This organization guarantees that its members act according to the Dutch law.

Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. For more information, visit the website of the City where you live or visit www.burgerservicenummer.nl.

If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
In The Netherlands, it is not allowed to charge money for job placement services. Therefore, our services are free.
