For our client ID Logistics in Etten-Leur we are looking for an order picker who knows how to tackle! From this warehouse you will be part of the distribution of the products for VakantieVeilingen. From here all the online orders are shipped to customers all over the Netherlands.

Together with your colleagues you ensure that the new orders are collected and you do this with the help of a hand scanner, where you can keep track of everything neatly. In addition, you can also be asked to carry out packing work, but also sorting and stacking work. Picking orders is physical, but not very hard work.

If you have a valid EPT certificate, you can also move and stack the goods with the help of an EPT truck. Also with other certificates (reach/hef/klem), you can start working here!

Job requirements

  • You are full-time available for 6 days from Monday till Saturday (6-day work week);
  • You are able to work in 2 shifts (07:00-16:00 and 16:00-01:00);
  • You work carefully and like to tackle;
  • You are available immediately and for a long term;
  • You master the English language (ID Logistics is an international company);
  • You are able to apply for a VOG.

About the company

ID Logistics is a large logistics player with various locations in the Netherlands such as in Etten-Leur, Tilburg and Den-Bosch, but also in the rest of Europe, America and Asia! IDL is responsible for the distribution of her large customers such as VakantieVeilingen, Media Markt, Sony and Nespresso.

The warehouse is easily accessible by car from Tilburg, Roosendaal and Breda.

What we offer

  • A full-time job of 40 hours per week;
  • A gross hourly wage of €10.98 excluding surcharges;
  • If you function properly you can get a permanent contract with IDL after 6 months!
  • Shift allowance of 20% after 18:00 and 40% after 00.00;
  • Are you travelling more than 10km one way? Then your travel expenses will also be compensated (max. daily allowance €6,42);
  • The possibility to be trained internally for, for example, the EPT truck.

If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. For more information, visit the website of the City where you live or visit www.burgerservicenummer.nl.

If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
In The Netherlands, it is not allowed to charge money for job placement services. Therefore, our services are free.
