Then a job as inventory employee might be something for you!

As inventory employee you make sure that stores with larger inventories have a clear image of what they have in stock at certain moments. The work you are going to do needs to be done very accurately.
You are going to count, scan and log the items in a store with the use of a handscanner. Before you start your work, you will have to do a one-day training. This training is on Fridays and takes place in Nieuwegein.

On a workday, you meet your colleagues between 12:00 and 14:00 at a central spot in Leeuwarden. Transportation will be waiting for you there. Together with your co-workers you drive to the location where you are going to count the inventory. Sometimes these stores can be further away. Because of this you will be compensated for your travel after half an hour.
A shift usually is approximately 5 hours in total. This means you are back in Leeuwarden later in the evening.
The workschedule is made up three weeks in advance. This means that you have to have a clear view of your availability. You can be planned in based on your own availability and you can work on weekdays as well as weekends. We ask you to be available for at least three shifts a week.
Due to the flexible planning based on your own availability, this job can be easily combined with your studies, other jobs or homelife.

About the company

You will be working for a large organisation that specializes in retailservices. You will often work at locations that have a large stock. The company you work for is located in 40 countries.
Your worklocation varies, so one shift you might be working in a large warehouse and the other day you might be working at a drugstore.

Yes, we are a member of ABU: the branch organization of the temporary employment sector. This organization guarantees that its members act according to the Dutch law.

Yes, you can choose between a weekly or a 4-weekly payment of your salary.
If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. For more information, visit the website of the City where you live or visit www.burgerservicenummer.nl.

If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
