As an inventory employee you have a lot of responsibility for the different stores where you work, because if mistakes are made in the inventory, it costs money. Does this challenge appeal to you? Then read on!
Your day as an inventory employee varies a lot, but starts of at the same place every day; the station in Tilburg. From there, you and your colleagues travel by bus or car to the location where you will be working that day. On location you will be assigned a hand scanner and a starting point will be appointed to you. Your working day lasts about 4 to 5 hours and you’ll always have a break in between your working hours with the rest of your friendly, international team. The faster and more effective you work, the sooner you have a chance of being promoted to a higher level. This includes a new job title, but also a new salary. When your working day is over, you’ll leave with your colleagues and you’ll travel home together.

To be allowed to work at RGIS, you must first successfully complete a counting test. Once you have passed, you will be registered for a training course, here you will receive even more information about your job and you will become acquainted with the hand scanner and the system. You’ll also do a more extensive counting test. Did you do well? Then you can get started!
The training is a one-off and takes place in Nieuwegein.

Job requirements

  • You can work quickly and accurately;
  • You get satisfaction from achieving targets and you can challenge yourself;
  • You are available at least 3 days a week, 2 during the week and 1 during the weekend;
  • You are available from 12:00 to 00:00 on the days that you are going to work. The working hours are planned in this time slot and last an average of 4 to 5 hours;
  • You are at least 18 years old (in connection with working hours);
  • You live within a maximum of 20 minutes travel distance from Tilburg station;
  • You are able to travel independently to the station in Tilburg. Given the working hours that can occur until late in the evening, it is important that you are not dependent on public transport;
  • You speak Dutch and/or English fluently;
  • You would like to work in a diverse and international team;
  • You are available to work for at least 5 months.

You will work at RGIS, an international giant that does the inventory stores and warehouses of major retail organizations in approximately 40 different countries. In the Netherlands, the organization mainly works together with parties such as Kruidvat and ICI Paris. These different customers mean different working days! What we offer

  • An good salary in 4 different levels. Every time you improve yourself to a certain level you can move up. This is mainly dependent on a combination of your speed and quality while working. Your starting salary is €11,- and it can go up to €13,-;

Yes, we are a member of ABU: the branch organization of the temporary employment sector. This organization guarantees that its members act according to the Dutch law. 
You are more than welcome at our office in Venlo, where our recruiters can talk to you in either Dutch, English, German and/or Polish.
If you work via Start People it is possible to, I some cases,  use one of our collective health insurance policies. However, if you want to stay in The Netherlands for a longer period of time, we advise you to arrange health insurance yourself.  
Some companies we work with only offer day shifts, but the most companies offer several shifts (morning-, day and night shifts). It is often not possible to work structurally in one specific shift.
Unfortunately, one of these three languages is required to find a job via Start People. It is important that you can communicate with our colleagues and your manager at work.
Yes, you can choose between a weekly or a 4-weekly payment of your salary.
If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. For more information, visit the website of the City where you live or visit www.burgerservicenummer.nl.

If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
