you will start working as an inventory assistant at RGIS. This work requires responsibility, independence and accuracy. This is very important because making mistakes in the inventory costs money. Does this challenge appeal to you? Then read on!

Your day as an inventory employee is very varied, but it starts every day at the same place, namely the central station in Eindhoven. From there, you and your colleagues travel by bus or car to the location where you will be working that day. Once you have arrived on location, you will receive a hand scanner with which you will work. After this, the manager hands out the tasks and you are assigned a starting point, you can now get started! The faster and more effective you work, the sooner you stand a chance of being promoted to a higher level. This not only means a new job title, but also a higher salary.

The working days last about 4 to 5 hours, in between you always have a break with the rest of your friendly team. When your working day is over, you leave home together with your colleagues, because going out together means at home together.

Once you have passed, you will be registered for a training course, here you will receive even more information about your job and you will become acquainted with the hand scanner and the system. You also do a more extensive counting test. Are you doing well? Then you can get started! The training is a one-off and takes place in Nieuwegein.

Job requirements

  • You are 18 years or older (in connection with working hours);
  • You are available to work for at least 5 months;
  • Would you like to work in a friendly and international team;
  • You like to achieve your targets and you can challenge yourself in this;
  • You can work efficiently and accurately;
  • You are available at least 3 days a week, of which 2 during the week and 1 during the weekend;
  • You live within a maximum of 20 minutes travel distance from Eindhoven central station;
  • You have the option to travel independently to Eindhoven Central. Given the working hours that can occur until late in the evening, it is important that you are not dependent on public transport;
  • On the days that you start working, you are available from 12:00 to 00:00. The working hours are planned in this time slot and last an average of 4 to 5 hours;
  • You speak fluent Dutch and/or English.

What we offer

  • A nice salary in 4 different levels. Your starting salary is €11 and it can go up to €13 at new levels. A higher level depends on your speed and efficiency while working;

Yes, we are a member of ABU: the branch organization of the temporary employment sector. This organization guarantees that its members act according to the Dutch law. 
You are more than welcome at our office in Venlo, where our recruiters can talk to you in either Dutch, English, German and/or Polish.
If you work via Start People it is possible to, I some cases,  use one of our collective health insurance policies. However, if you want to stay in The Netherlands for a longer period of time, we advise you to arrange health insurance yourself.  
Some companies we work with only offer day shifts, but the most companies offer several shifts (morning-, day and night shifts). It is often not possible to work structurally in one specific shift.
Unfortunately, one of these three languages is required to find a job via Start People. It is important that you can communicate with our colleagues and your manager at work.
Yes, you can choose between a weekly or a 4-weekly payment of your salary.
If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
