What are your activities?

You are indispensable for the food industry. Your work consists mainly of folding, stacking, sorting and throwing in our delicious snacks. Of course a little bit of hygiene is also part of the job, like cleaning your workspace and keeping up with the rinsing kitchen.

No day is the same, production work is very diverse. Everyday there are different production line at which you are planned.. There is no guarantee of a fulltime 40 hour working week, sometimes it varies with a parttime working week of 24 hours.

If you work properly, there are opportunities to follow various training courses that are relevant to production employees within Mora.

Who are we looking for?

You are flexible and willing to work 3-shift shifts, you have a positive attitude and like to work in a team.

Since you will be working in shifts, you will need to have your own transport and the travel expenses will be reimbursed. We are also looking for someone who:

  • lives in the region of Maastricht (in connection with on-call work);
  • Has experience in a production environment or would like to work in it;

At Mora Productie B.V. in Maastricht, high quality snacks are produced for the catering and retail sectors. Examples include croquettes, bitterballs, meat rolls and spring rolls. The company is constantly developing and moving. Hygiene is of course very important in the production process. This company has a pleasant working atmosphere where production employees work pleasantly.

If you work properly and the team leaders at Mora are satisfied with your work, you may qualify for various training courses within Mora and you can make yourself indispensable to the planning.

What we offer

What do you get from us?

You can be scheduled in three services (6.00-14.00, 14.00-22.00 and 22.00-06.00). Salary is in accordance with the industry's collective labour agreement (CAO) + shift bonuses.

This means for 18 years and older:

  • 1st year: € 11,64
  • 2nd year: € 12,65

You will receive supplements between 18:00-24:00 of 33% and between 24:00-06:00 35% calculated on the basis of your gross salary. The longer you work for us, the more you will earn!

You are also going to get a HACCP certificate, you are working in a nice company with a real family atmosphere and you can start working soon! You work for a temporary employment contract. But with good performance it is possible to work at Mora for a longer period of time.

Yes, we are a member of ABU: the branch organization of the temporary employment sector. This organization guarantees that its members act according to the Dutch law. 
You are more than welcome at our office in Venlo, where our recruiters can talk to you in either Dutch, English, German and/or Polish.
If you work via Start People it is possible to, I some cases,  use one of our collective health insurance policies. However, if you want to stay in The Netherlands for a longer period of time, we advise you to arrange health insurance yourself.  
Some companies we work with only offer day shifts, but the most companies offer several shifts (morning-, day and night shifts). It is often not possible to work structurally in one specific shift.
Unfortunately, one of these three languages is required to find a job via Start People. It is important that you can communicate with our colleagues and your manager at work.
Yes, you can choose between a weekly or a 4-weekly payment of your salary.
If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
