Start People is looking for new colleagues at Mauser Benelux in Oosterhout (near Breda and Tilburg) to work at the IBC department.
This department makes steel frames which need to be places on pallets so the assembly employees can place 1,000 liter barrels.

You as a production employee IBC will never be bored during your shift:
You are responsible for a number of tasks such as:

  • Assembly and finishing of produced steel frames onto pallets;
  • Fastening the steel frames to the pallets;
  • Checking the quality of the frames after they come out of the machine;
  • Materials supply and removal;
  • Handling the machine and solve minor problems;
  • Make sure your workspace is always safe and clean to work.

Mauser works in a 5 shift roster, which means that you will work 6 days in a row (2 morning shifts, 2 afternoon shifts and 2 night shifts) after which you will have 4 days off.
You will work together with other colleagues and ensure the correct quality of the end product.

Job requirements

You as our new colleague meet the following requirements:

  • Some experience in a production environment would be nice;
  • Or you have finished a technical school;
  • Minimum length of 1.80 meters; (you cannot reacht the top of the frames if you are not this tall)
  • You have an eye for detail.
  • You are willing to work in 5 shifts
  • You have your own accommodation and transport to get to Mauser in Oosterhout

Mauser works day and night, production is working 24/7.
We produce cans, barrels and other hollow products using the extrusion blow molding process which you will be able to learn if you work at Mauser.
Mauser does this for a variety of clients. Most of them belong to the food industry, pharmaceutical industry and chemical industry.
The produced cans and barrels are used for acids, agricultural pesticides, hospitals and basic raw materials for the rubber paint and plastics industry.

Some companies we work with only offer day shifts, but the most companies offer several shifts (morning-, day and night shifts). It is often not possible to work structurally in one specific shift.
Unfortunately, one of these three languages is required to find a job via Start People. It is important that you can communicate with our colleagues and your manager at work.
Yes, you can choose between a weekly or a 4-weekly payment of your salary.
If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
