About the job

From start to finish, you make sure that the best metal products are being made! As a production employee you play a role in every part of the process. Do you want to know more about that? Then just read on!

It starts with the core making process. Here you make sand cores with the help of core shooting machines. As soon as these sand cores have been made, you will edit them manually. You add parts where necessary, do the quality control and clean the sand core according to the work instructions.

Then the sand cores go to the molding line. You put the sand cores, both manually and with the help of a crane, on the conveyor belt. The sand cores become castings here. Here, too, some post-processing takes place. So it may be that you work at the cutting table. At the cutting table, castings are cut from excess aluminum that has remained on it during the casting process.

The last department -finishing department- is all about processing the heavy castings. The work in this department mostly consist grinding, deburring, sawing, etc. You do this with the help of various hand tools. It is therefore important that you have some technical insight and you are not afraid to get your hands dirty. Some physical work is not an issue for you either!

Sounds good? Then leave an application so we can invite you to see the process with your own eyes during a tour if your profile fits!
