About the job

Do you have experience as a (production) operator and are you looking for a permanent new job with a good salary and many development opportunities in Veghel (area of Eindhoven)?

As a sawing machine operator, you are engaged in machining and customizing steel, beams and plates on a daily basis.
You ensure that all metal materials are processed according to the customer's wishes.
This may mean that you cut the materials to size, but also that you blast the end product by machine.
Every customer has different wishes and requirements and it is up to you to ensure that the customer receives the right materials!

Job requirements

  • You have your own transport and an accommodation (nearby Veghel, max. 30 km), Start People DOESN'T provide either of these
  • You have experience with in operating mechanical processing of a saw for cutting metal;
  • You are available full-time and willing to work in 2 and 3 shifts;
  • You are looking for work for a long period of time in a steady growing company

Thyssenkrupp is located on the A50 in Veghel and is therefore easily accessible from: Den Bosch, Gemert, Eindhoven, Helmond, Nijmegen, Tilburg, 's-Hertogenbosch and Best.

They provide extensive editing capabilities for customers. From standard operations to complete semi-finished products.
This client wants to invest in you and is happy to give you a permanent contract if you function properly.
After 7 months you can already earn a permanent contract and there is a lot of room for further development!

What we offer

  • You will immediately receive a contract for a period of 7 months;
  • When this goes well after the 7 months you will receive a contract from Thyssenkrupp;
  • Starting salary depending on your experience between € 2,200 and € 3,000 gross per month excluding allowances; That is good money!
  • Shift allowance of 12.5% for 2 shifts or 22.5% for 3 shifts (for every hour);
  • You will also receive a travel allowance

Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. For more information, visit the website of the City where you live or visit www.burgerservicenummer.nl.

If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
In The Netherlands, it is not allowed to charge money for job placement services. Therefore, our services are free.
