For an International and Pharmaceutical organization in Breda we are looking for a Senior Associate Supply Chain. You will work for the External Planning and Delivery (EPD) team based in Breda and you will support the planners for the EPD team where necessary.
The EPD team manages the forecast planning and supply chain activities for several Drug Product and Drug Substance Contract manufacturing sites in Europe. The role of the EPD team through consultation with the Contract Manufacturing site managers and global product planners manages material requirements planning, ordering and payment, CMO batch management from planning to distribution and CMO performance management through agreed KPI’s and Metrics.

In this role you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Participate in the Monthly Planning Cycle;
  • Use of Rapid Response to analyse demand and supply requirements;
  • Use of SAP to place orders as required;
  • Send forecasts to CMO’s and manage confirmation communications;
  • Participate in weekly Work Center team calls with CMO’s;
  • Own batch tracking and EPD activities required to meet supply within contract timelines;
  • Manage batch progress through SAP transactions for full manufacturing and logistic process;
  • Material requirements planning for CMO’s including ordering, invoice payment and expiry management;
  • Coordination of DS/raw material ordering and shipments to CMO’s to meet plan;
  • Coordination of outgoing shipments from CMO to specific Amgen Sites;
  • Manage performance metrics (master data accuracy, past due orders, expired materials, on time delivery, inventory levels).

Job requirements

Our new Senior Associate Supply Chain meets at least the following requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree;
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience;
  • 1-3 years experience in a GMP environment;
  • Experience in using SAP, Excel and MS Office;
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written communication;
  • Good process development and problem-solving skills;
  • Very good interpersonal skills; ability to interact with multiple stakeholders in an organization.

Yes, you can choose between a weekly or a 4-weekly payment of your salary.

Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
