We are looking for a Senior Associate Warehouse for an International Pharmaceutical organization. Together with your colleagues you will look for improvements in the workplace, so that the warehouse department runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible. You will start working here on a day shift and you will start around 8: 00 / - 8:30 with a nice cup of coffee, in between you will chat with your colleagues and discuss what is planned for that day. You will close the day together around 17:00 and briefly discuss the agenda for the next day.

Below are the responsibilities that fall under your duties:

  • Represent Warehouse department in multifunctional projects;
  • Complete impact assessments of changes assigned through the Change Control process;
  • Implement agreed change initiatives for warehouse processes in close collaboration with involved stakeholders;
  • Monitor and control available storage capacity to enable smooth warehouse operations;
  • Own, develop and improve projection models for the use of storage capacity;
  • Maintain location control and replenishment strategies;
  • Keep warehouse-related performance statistics;
  • Creates cycle counting plans and coordinates the execution of cycle counts based on the WMS configuration;
  • Provides periodic reports on the accuracy of inventory and master data;
  • Supervises the stock management of shipping materials;
  • Maintains a close relationship with Quality to ensure compliance;
  • Support audits as a business owner of cycle counting and warehouse master data.

Job requirements

Our new Senior Associate Warehouse meets at least the following requirements:

  • HBO (Bachelor) level (relevant education) or related experience;
  • At least 5 years of experience in a relevant logistics / supply chain environment;
  • Experience with location management / stock management;
  • Analytical skills and used to working with MS Excel;
  • Proficient in English and Dutch, both orally and in writing;
  • Experience in a highly regulated business environment (such as the pharmaceutical, food or chemical industry) is an advantage.

What we offer

  • Full-time job for 40 hours a week;
  • A salary between €2.950 and €3.300 gross per month;
  • Travel allowance;
  • Contract for 1 year. An extension afterwards is optional, depending on performance and match;

Yes, you can choose between a weekly or a 4-weekly payment of your salary.
If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
