We are a supply chain driven organization, and site planning has a leading role towards planning of manufacturing, quality assurance, warehouse operations. Site leadership has strong interest for stability in operations, which is at the core of your business.

Our Supply Planning team plays a key role in fulfilling our mission. We ensure supply to patients in more than 75 markets in Europe, Turkey, Middle East and Africa Regions. We are located in Breda, where we are responsible to manage the short, medium- and long-term plans for incoming supplies, production, warehouse and QA activities.

We are looking for a Site Planner to strengthen our Supply Planning team. We welcome solid performing supply chain experts looking to refresh their environment, as well experienced planners that have an ambition to grow.

Your responsibilities:

  • The Site planner is responsible for the short-term planning horizon (0-3 months);
  • Managing the packaging and labeling production orders to ensure supply;
  • You ensure supply readiness for product launches and revisions;
  • You represent the Supply Planning team in improvement initiatives, planning and product meetings within operations;
  • You manage performance through daily SQDIP Performance Board with our team and Weekly Capacity meeting including department leads;

You will be responsible for your set of packaging lines and work closely with various stakeholders and departments. On-site stakeholders including Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, Regional Supply Chain and your own Site Planning colleagues who are sourcing components and planning drug product. We provide a flexible environment of working both from home and being in the office allowing you to meet your new colleagues both virtually and face to face.

You will be faced with high complexity, driven by high market requirements as well as regulatory, compliance and quality requirements from the Pharma industry. You will have to deal with unexpected events like technical failures, quality deviations, and demand changes. This is a great challenge to be managed by the Supply Planning team – and you. While the world around you is becoming increasingly complex, you are key for bringing stability in our operations.

Job requirements

Your qualifications

  • You have supply chain and/or planning experience;
  • You can benefit from experience in a regulated Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment such as pharmaceuticals, medtech, food/beverages, and ingredients. You are familiar with working with high compliance and quality standards;
  • Solid communication skills. You can represent the planning team in cross-functional settings and partner well with other departments to drive solutions;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You come prepared, are fact-based, are motivated to understand root cause and drive corrective and preventive actions. You take ownership and set priorities;
  • Bachelor or master degree in Supply Chain/Business Administration/Logistics.

The recruitment process

What we offer

  • Fulltime position of 40 hours per week;
  • A monthly salary of €2900 - €3600 gross;
  • Travel allowance of €0,19 per KM;
  • A contract for one year with possible extension based on your performance;

You are more than welcome at our office in Venlo, where our recruiters can talk to you in either Dutch, English, German and/or Polish.

Some companies we work with only offer day shifts, but the most companies offer several shifts (morning-, day and night shifts). It is often not possible to work structurally in one specific shift.

Yes, you can choose between a weekly or a 4-weekly payment of your salary.
If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
