For a pharmaceutical organization in Breda, we are looking for a Technical Operator (3 shifts) . We are looking for a result-oriented Operator who leads a line. You will use your experience, your technical and analytical process skills and your quality focus to achieve optimal results. You get energy from operating high-tech equipment that processes high-quality medicines in a GMP-controlled and regulated environment. The goal is to serve our patients in time with high quality products. You are looking for challenges and opportunities to drive continuous improvement by eliminating waste, improving processes and individuals, delivering product quality and compliance and working in a highly motivated team.

The production hall in which you will work contains 9 (semi) automated production lines. Within a team of highly qualified operators (3 to 9 per line), the primary responsibility of the team lies in operating the equipment according to regulated processes and delivering according to the agreed planned performance to deliver high quality products.

You will work with the following activities:

  • Running a production line according to operational procedures;
  • Taking care of administrative tasks in SAP / MES;
  • Analyzing process data;
  • Collaborate / communicate with other operators and supervisors to achieve defined goals;
  • Search for improvement and efficiency (working LEAN) in and around the work process;
  • Providing escalation for A-typical events;
  • Performing a full shift transfer of essential information;
  • Participate in improvement and problem solving processes.

Job requirements

In a Technical Operator we are look for at least these minimal requirements:

  • A MBO education background;
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience in a production environment as a Process / Technical Operator;
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or MES;
  • Experience in working with standard business processes;
  • Good communication skills (oral and written), in both English and Dutch.

Important competences:

  • Team player;
  • Efficient and accurate;
  • Structured;
  • Responsible;
  • Analytical;
  • Flexible (working hours, shifts, overtime, weekends).

It is an advantage if you also meet these requirements:

  • VAPRO A and / or VAPRO B;
  • Work experience in a GMP / GDP or ISO certified production environment;
  • 1 to 3 years of experience with LEAN production, Six sigma, continuous improvement and problem solving.

Yes, we are a member of ABU: the branch organization of the temporary employment sector. This organization guarantees that its members act according to the Dutch law.

Yes, you can choose between a weekly or a 4-weekly payment of your salary.
If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
