For an international pharmaceutical environment in Breda, we are looking for a technical operator who would like to work in 2 shifts.

The organization is looking for:
A result driven and knowledgeable person who is running a line with well-developed technical & analytical process operating skills, strong quality mindset and a mature “ I can do it” attitude. He/she is getting energy from operating high-tech equipment that processes high-end quality medicines in a GMP controlled and regulated environment.

The production hall contains 9 (semi) automated production lines.
Within a team of highly qualified operators (3-9/ line) the primary responsibility of the team lies in operating the equipment per regulated processes and deliver according the agreed planned performance to deliver high quality products in highly regulated and safe environment.
You will be working in 2 shift (6:30-15:00/ 14:30-23:00).

Your responsibilities during the day are:

  • Running a production line according to operating procedures;
  • Take care of administrative tasks in SAP/MES;
  • Collecting and documenting process data;
  • Analyze process data on own level;
  • Having constantly inside process continuity and development;
  • Working together/communicate with other operators and line lead in order to deliver defined goals;
  • Looking for improvement and efficiency (LEAN working) in and around working process;
  • Taking care of escalation when A-typical events occur;
  • Taking ownership for all tasks and results;
  • Doing complete shift handover regarding essential information;
  • Taking care that all training has been followed according to deadlines;
  • Taking care of related logistic processes:
  • Being participant in improvement and trouble shoot processes.

Job requirements

You are the candidate we are looking for if you meet at least the following requirements:

  • Working experience: - 3 -5 year experienced in manufacturing environment as process/technical operator (pre; GMP/GDP or ISO certified environment) ;
  • 1-3 years working experience with LEAN manufacturing, Six sigma;
  • Working with process/data processing ERP systems (SAP/MES) ;
  • MBO (technical or process) - and/or - VAPRO A - VAPRO B;
  • Mature (verbally and written) skills in English;
  • Fulltime available for 40 hours per week;

What we offer

If you are going to start as our new technical operator, we can offer you the following:

  • temporary (tijdelijk) contract with a view to extension;
  • A gross monthly salary between €2400 and €3400,including shift allowance;
  • Travel allowance of €019 per KM;
  • Opportunities to deepen in production processes.

Yes, you can choose between a weekly or a 4-weekly payment of your salary.
If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
