You will be working in the position of Transport Specialist at the location in Breda. Within this organization there are 2 planning centers (one in the US and one in the Netherlands).
As a Transport Specialist you are the link between the different operational departments and responsible for the shipment of different products (in the field of Nutrition) which are transported from different factories worldwide to customers.
The shipment from the different factories takes place by means of trucks but mainly via the shipping companies (90%).

As a Transport Specialist you are responsible for shipping the products in the most efficient and effective way to the various locations worldwide such as Singapore.
Should there be any problems within a transport you will look for a suitable solution. In this position you have a lot of international (telephone) contact with shipping companies/shipping companies. You will also find out what the best rates are from different carriers for an (international) transport.

In this position you report to your direct manager and also contribute to periodic business reviews for the Internal and External Stakeholders (shipping companies/suppliers). The internal stakeholder you will work with a lot is the distribution department (responsible for the factories) and the documentation team of the organization.

Initially you will receive a detachment contract (temporary employment) for 7 months. As the organization is moving fast, there is a chance for an extension and possible acquisition by the company. In addition, the organization offers you the opportunity to continue to develop yourself.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
