Are you looking for a nice (side) job in a warehouse and are you available at least on Saturdays, where you will earn as much as €15.12 per hour? Then read on!

We are looking for order pickers for a warehouse in Heijen. Your work will consist of sorting and preparing goods such as sports shoes and clothing. You will ensure that everything is properly selected and that all products are eventually delivered to the right customer. Your work and how fast you work are of great importance for the customer!

We are initially looking for people who are available on Saturdays. It is also possible to work an extra day (or 2/3) during the week. Please mention in your motivation letter which day's you are available. On Saturdays you work from 07:00-12:00h or from 07:00-16:00h. You will hear this on the Thursday before. Monday to Friday you work from 06:00 to 15:30 or from 09:00 to 18:30. Good to know: on Saturdays you earn €15.12 per hour!

After you have been hired, a two-week onboarding period starts. It is important that you are available on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. This is a requirement so you can work independently.

Job requirements

  • You're a real tackler;
  • You're available on Saturdays and possibly an extra day during the week;
  • Are you available on Mondays? Then this is a plus!
  • In the first two weeks of your employment you are available during the week on Monday, Thursday and Friday;
  • You live in the area Heijen or you can easily come here on your own transport (e.g. a car).

The warehouse is located in Heijen, easy to reach from Boxmeer, Gennep and surroundings. Do you have a car? Then it's only 35 minutes from Nijmegen and 20 minutes from Venray.

What we offer

  • A nice weekend (side) job for Saturday and possibly during the week;
  • A salary of €10.08 per hour if you are 21 years and older, on Saturdays you earn €15.12 per hour!
  • On top of your salary you will receive 8.33% holiday allowance and 10% leave hours;
  • A travel arrangement of €0.19 per km with a maximum of 40 km in total;

If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
