For a pharmaceutical organization in Breda we are looking for a warehouse employee who is responsible for the incoming goods.

As a warehouse inbound receiver you will work within the inbound team and you will be responsible for unloading, checking and processing/booking goods receipts. These goods receipts come from a large batch of both internal and external suppliers. This mainly concerns semi-finished products, including medicines and components such as, for example, information leaflets, labels, packaging materials, etc. These semi-finished products are then collected (picked) for the production department, where end products are produced.

Within this position you will receive daily management and tasks from the inbound team leader and standard activities are recorded in procedures and work instructions. Tasks are performed and recorded within the SAP Warehouse Management system.
In addition, you work on a day shift and you can also enjoy your free weekends.

Your duties and responsibilities:

  • Physical receipt of incoming goods (unloading and checking of freight, unpacking and placing on internal storage means);
  • Checking incoming goods: physical VS documentation supplied VS system data (SAP);
  • Entering and processing receipts in SAP;
  • Ensuring order and tidiness: a safe working environment in which quality is guaranteed.

Possible other tasks:

  • Performing internal stock counts/checks;
  • Picking production orders (delivering semi-finished products to the Production department for manufacturing of finished products);

Job requirements

Have you become enthusiastic by the above description and do you meet the following requirements, then apply quickly!

  • MBO work & thinking level;
  • 1 year of relevant work experience in a logistics/warehousing environment;
  • Good command of the English language (both spoken and written);
  • Accurate and quality-oriented.

If you have the following requirements, that is a big plus:

  • Experience in a pharmaceutical environment;
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (preferably SAP WM);
  • Reach truck and EPT certificate.

What we offer

As soon as you start as a warehouse employee, we can offer you the following:

  • Full-time position of 40 hours per week;
  • An hourly wage of €13,25 gross;
  • KM reimbursement of €0.19 per KM;
  • One year contract, with a view to extension.

Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
