UPS Health Care is one of the different departments in Venlo, where we are looking for employees. What are your tasks? You are responsible for creating orders based on picking lists. There orders will concern med. Stuff for hospitals across Europe. Here are precision and a high degree of responsibility required.

Just a few of your daily tasks:

  • Scanning of goods in the automated system
  • Collecting / moving (partial) orders and complete orders on a pallet
  • Keep your workspace tidy
  • Sealing the collected orders
  • Observe deviations and the safety rules.
  • Relocate or stack goods to organize the warehouse efficiently.

Job requirements

Do you want to work in a warehouse with a little bit more of responsibility?
First of all, it is important that you master the English language. All meetings and tasks you will get will be in the English language. You have to be able to understand everything. You also need a document of good behavior to work at UPS.
In this department you will work in two shifts, so you have to be during the first week as follows:
Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
And in the second week as follows:
Monday to Friday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
There may be differences in working hours if you are interested in other departments.
You have to be physically fit. Standing, Running and lifting up heavy parcels isn’t an issue for you. You want to work in a team. At UPS you will work with colleagues from different UPS departments and different nationalities.

You work for a huge logistics player who takes responsibility for the logistics process of other companies. There are different departments and tasks that make the work varied. What we offer

While you are working within low temperatures doesn’t mean you will get a low salary:

  • Salary of 1600 EUR net (including shift allowance and extra allowance for working in the cooler)
  • 8,33% vacation pay
  • 25 days of vacation (full-time)
  • Travel costs from 10 kilometers; max 160 EUR net additionally
  • Internal training that contributes to your personal development;
  • Good guidance during the training process.
  • A working week of 30-40 hours a week (fulltime)

If the cooperation is good, the client can offer you a permanent contract / contract met uitzicht op vast.

Yes, you can choose between a weekly or a 4-weekly payment of your salary.
If you want to work in The Netherlands, you should be able to arrage your own transportation. Also, traveling together with other people is not preferred due to the flexibility you need for several jobs. 
Unfortunately, Start People does not offer housing. If you wish to work for Start People, you need to arrange housing in the Netherlands or in the Dutch border area.

If you have the intention to stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, you must register in the personal records database of the city you live in. To do this, go to the town hall of the city where you are going to live. You will then receive a citizen service number (BSN). With this number, your employer can register you, for example, at the Tax Authorities/ Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies can also ask you for your BSN. For more information, visit the website of the City where you live or visit www.burgerservicenummer.nl.

If you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than four months, registration in to the personal record database is not obligated. If you still want a citizen service number, you must register in the personal record database of the city you live in. 

We can help you make an appointment to get your BSN number, but you must go to the appointment yourself. 
You need a valid ID, BSN number on an original document from either the Tax Authorities or City (Hall) you are registered in, and a European bank account number (IBAN) in your name.
In The Netherlands, it is not allowed to charge money for job placement services. Therefore, our services are free.
