Reachtruck driver

For a large logistic client, we are immediately looking for experienced full-time reach truck drivers in the Almere area. You will work in a permanent and loyal team in which no day is the same. The daily variety and dynamics in your work keeps you focussed and dedicated. You are flexible and dare to take on responsibilities.

Within the logistics company, you know how to seamlessly make the supply run smoothly with your experience. You have driving experience with the reach truck, or forklift and you can grow into a reach truck driver. As a reach truck driver you hold an all-round warehouse employee position in which you can assist where necessary. Sometimes as a warehouse employee, order picker or on a forklift. In short; plenty of variety, but your main task is reach truck driving!

We think it is important that you should at least have experience in a logistics environment, and preferably driving experience with the reach truck. In the work, opportunities often pass by so that you can develop yourself further. How about a contract through the client after 6 months? Training opportunities for forklift or reach truck? Our client is a large international logistics company, Almere is specialized in supply chain. There has been a lot of growth and developments at the Almere location in the past year, which has resulted in many positive developments for the staff. Think of a new warehouse location opened, management structure has been expanded in width and so there are still a few nice developments to mention.

They work with 2 shifts, a morning shift from 7:00 - 15:00 hours or an evening shift from 14:00 - 23:00 hours. During busy periods, they can scale up to 2 shifts, but until then you work in a day or evening shift.

Due to the poor accessibility of the location during evening hours, it is important that you have your own transport such as car, electric bike, scooter. There is no public transport connection during the evening hours. From the following cities you have the following travel time;
Amsterdam - 35 minutes
Harderwijk - 30 minutes
Lelystad - 30 minutes

You are flexible, dare to take on your responsibilities and like to roll up your sleeves. As a reach truck driver, you see your work and respond to crowds on the work floor by having the supply in order in time.

It is not physically very heavy work, but you are able to stand on your feet all day and walk a lot. In any case, you don't have to go to the gym as often in addition to your work!
