About the position
As a Independent Chef at Wok Restaurant Royal Palace, you will be part of a dynamic kitchen team that values quality and collaboration. You’ll play a key role in preparing dishes for our all-you-can-eat concept, wok station, à-la-carte menu, and takeaway kitchen. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll apply your culinary skills and knowledge of HACCP guidelines to ensure every dish meets our high standards. What You Will Do:
- Prepare and cook: dishes according to recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and taste.
- Monitor: the flavor, presentation, and doneness of dishes to maintain quality.
- Follow: HACCP guidelines and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe and clean kitchen environment.
- Manage: inventory levels and inspect incoming deliveries to maintain stock quality.
- Support: and guide kitchen assistants during busy shifts to ensure smooth operations.

- A monthly salary between €2,500 and €3,200 gross, based on experience.
- A permanent contract from day one.

Job Requirements
We are seeking a skilled and collaborative chef who thrives in a dynamic kitchen environment and values quality and teamwork.
- MBO-3 diploma, preferably in Culinary Arts or Hospitality.
- Proficient in basic cooking techniques and HACCP guidelines.
- Experience in high-pressure kitchens; calm under peak moments.
- Available for evening and weekend shifts.
- Fluent in Dutch and/or English; Chinese is a bonus.
