About the position
As a logistics employee morningshift at GLS, you will play an active role in ensuring the smooth flow of packages at our Drachten location. Your day starts early, giving you the rest of the day free, while you contribute to an efficient and organized logistics process. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on tasks, thrives in a team environment, and is motivated to keep things running smoothly.
What You Will Do:
- Unloading: removing packages from trucks and containers to prepare them for processing.
- Sorting: organizing packages by destination to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Loading: placing sorted packages into trucks for their next journey.
- Maintaining: keeping the workspace clean, safe, and organized for efficient operations.
- Physical tasks: performing lifting, bending, and other active tasks as part of your daily routine.

- Hourly salary: €14.80 (excluding allowances).
- Temporary contract with the prospect of permanent employment.
- Part-time role of 20 hours per week.
- 8% holiday allowance for extra financial flexibility.
- Travel reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometer.
- Fixed morning shifts, leaving your afternoons free.
Job Requirements
Are you a reliable and proactive team player for early shifts?
- Proficient in Dutch and/or English, spoken and written.
- Physically fit for active, hands-on tasks.
- Available Monday to Friday, 04:30 to 08:30.
- Minimum VMBO-level education or equivalent thinking level.
- Motivated, trustworthy, and a collaborative team player.
