About the position
As an order picker at GEODIS, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of high-value products in our brand-new, high-tech warehouse in Horst. You’ll be part of a dynamic team working in an environment where processes are still being fine-tuned, giving you the opportunity to actively contribute to improvements. Your day-to-day tasks will involve physical work, attention to detail, and collaboration with colleagues to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
What You Will Do:
- Order picking: collect and prepare products using an electric pallet truck (EPT) while ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Packing: securely pack items for shipment, verifying completeness and adhering to safety guidelines.
- Equipment operation: use forklifts, reach trucks, or combitrucks if you have the necessary certifications.
- Process improvement: contribute ideas to optimize workflows and enhance efficiency in this start-up phase.
- Team collaboration: work closely with your colleagues to maintain a safe, organized, and productive warehouse environment.

- Hourly salary between €14.98 and €16.20, based on experience.
- Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position.

Job Requirements
We are looking for a motivated logistics professional with a hands-on attitude and a drive to contribute to a high-tech warehouse environment.
- 1-2 years of logistics experience, including EPT and order picking.
- Valid forklift, reach truck, or combitruck certificates are a plus.
- Physically fit and comfortable with lifting and walking tasks.
- Proficient in English, with strong attention to detail.
- Own transportation and willingness to provide a VOG.
