About the position
As a logistics medewerker at GLS in Utrecht, you will play an important role in ensuring the efficient handling of thousands of packages every day. You’ll work in a fast-paced warehouse environment where teamwork, accuracy, and safety are essential. From loading and unloading trucks to sorting parcels and preparing shipments, your efforts will directly contribute to timely deliveries. This role involves physical activity, including lifting packages up to 25 kg, and working in a cool warehouse setting due to open docks.
What You Will Do:
- Loading and unloading: ensuring trucks are emptied and loaded efficiently to keep operations running smoothly.
- Sorting and scanning: organizing packages by destination and checking for any damage or irregularities.
- Goods processing: preparing shipments for transport using tools like hand pallet trucks and other equipment.
- Maintaining safety: keeping your workspace clean, adhering to safety guidelines, and reporting any issues to your team leader.
- Staying active: performing physical tasks throughout your shift in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Job Requirements
We are looking for active, reliable, and collaborative warehouse workers.
- Minimum 18 years old with valid work permit.
- Available at least 16 hours across weekdays.
- Physically fit to lift packages up to 25 kg.
- Own transport required for early or night shifts.
- Basic proficiency in Dutch or English.
