About the position
As a logistics medewerker in the evening shift at GLS, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient processing of packages. Working closely with your team, you ensure that packages are correctly handled and dispatched on time. This role requires physical activity, attention to detail, and adaptability to a dynamic and sometimes cold work environment.
What You Will Do:
- Unloading: carefully unloading packages from incoming trucks.
- Sorting: organizing packages based on their destination.
- Loading: stacking and loading packages into outgoing trucks.
- Maintaining: performing cleanup and basic maintenance tasks to keep the workspace organized.
- Physical tasks: walking, standing, and lifting throughout your shift.

- Hourly salary of €14.99, excluding additional allowances.
- Temporary contract with the prospect of permanent employment.
- Work schedule of 24–40 hours per week, fixed evening shifts.
- 8.75% evening shift allowance between 20:00–00:00.
- Travel reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometer.
- 8% holiday allowance and weekly or 4-weekly salary payments.
Job Requirements
We are looking for a motivated logistics team player who thrives in a dynamic and hands-on environment.
- Proficient in Dutch, both spoken and written.
- Available Monday to Friday, 16:00 - 23:00.
- Physically capable of performing active tasks.
- Comfortable working in a cold environment.
- Proactive attitude and strong team collaboration skills.
