About the position
As a logistics employee at GLS in Zwolle, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient handling of packages in a dynamic logistics environment. Your role involves physical tasks, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure packages are processed accurately and on time. This position requires a hands-on mentality, reliability, and the ability to work in a cold environment during evening shifts.
What You Will Do:
- Unloading: carefully removing packages from trucks and containers.
- Sorting: organizing packages to their correct destinations using provided tools.
- Loading: stacking and loading packages into trucks with precision.
- Physical tasks: lifting, bending, and stacking while following safety and lifting guidelines.
- Supporting: assisting with additional tasks such as cleaning and maintaining the workspace when needed.
Important to know:
You will be working in a cold logistics environment and during the evening shift. These are standard components of the position and form an important starting point for this role.

- Salary: approximately €3,000 per month (including allowances and based on a 40-hour workweek).).
- Temporary contract with the possibility of extension.
- Part-time role, 16 to 40 hours per week.
- 8% holiday allowance for financial security.
- Travel reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometer.
- Flexible working hours to suit your schedule.
Job Requirements

- VMBO-level education or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in Dutch and/or English.
- Physically strong and comfortable with heavy lifting tasks.
