About the position
At Scheuten Glas in Venlo, you’ll be joining a dynamic team at one of the largest market leaders in the glass industry. Your work will directly contribute to creating high-quality glass products used in projects like patio roofs, noise barriers, and greenhouse horticulture. Your responsibilities include:- Performing various production tasks such as cutting, laminating, hardening, and polishing glass plates.
- Ensuring the quality of glass products for diverse applications, including safety glass and insulating glass.
- Operating machinery and tools safely and efficiently within a structured 3-shift system.
- Collaborating with your team to meet production targets and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Following safety guidelines and contributing to a safe working environment.
What we offer
- You earn a salary of €19.13 per hour, paid out weekly.
- You work full-time, 38–40 hours per week in a clear 3-shift schedule.
- You receive a temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
- You get a travel allowance of €0.23 per km.
- You build up 25 vacation days per year and receive 8% holiday pay.
- You can earn a yearly bonus of up to €2,500 gross.
- You follow a structured onboarding program with guidance from experienced colleagues.
- You get training to work safely and to master the full glass production process.

Job Requirements
- Basic communication in Dutch, English, or German required.
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift system weekly rotation.
- Physically fit for tasks like cutting, laminating, and polishing.
- Motivated and enthusiastic attitude towards team and individual work.
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not mandatory.
