As a Service & Maintenance Technician, you play a key role in ensuring our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will work in a dynamic industrial environment where you are responsible for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation-related maintenance activities.Using your technical expertise, you will troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and contribute ideas to improve machine performance and reduce downtime. You will also support the ongoing modernization and optimization of our machinery and technical processes.
Your Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out preventive maintenance and periodic inspections on production machinery and installations.
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and control system malfunctions.
  • Working with automation and control systems such as Siemens S7 and TIA Portal.
  • Identifying improvement opportunities to prevent future technical issues.
  • Assisting in the development and optimization of maintenance and inspection plans.
  • Supporting colleagues and external contractors during technical projects and maintenance work.
  • Preparing clear maintenance and breakdown reports to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

About the position

Employment Conditions:

  • Monthly salary between €4.350,- and €5.550,- gross, depending on experience.
  • Direct contract with the employer.
  • Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
  • Full-time position (40 hours per week).
  • 8% holiday allowance and an attractive profit-sharing scheme.
  • 27 vacation days plus 7 additional ADV days.

Job Requirements

We are looking for a proactive and solution-oriented technician with strong technical skills and a team-focused mindset.
Requirements:
  • Completed MBO Level 3 education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Knowledge of Siemens S7 and/or TIA Portal is considered a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to work full-time in a two-shift schedule.
  • Living in or near the Hilversum, Amersfoort, or Utrecht region.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Eager to learn and continuously improve technical processes.
