About the position
As a logistics employee at GLS in Utrecht, you will play an active role in ensuring the smooth flow of our logistics processes during night shifts. Working in a dynamic environment, you will focus on physical tasks and precision to ensure packages are delivered on time and in excellent condition. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, and a hands-on approach to meet daily operational goals.
What You Will Do:
- Sort packages: ensure each package is directed to the correct location efficiently.
- Load and unload: handle the loading and unloading of trucks with care and accuracy.
- Prepare shipments: check and ready packages for transport to their destinations.
- Use tools: operate barcode scanners and other logistics equipment effectively.
- Collaborate: communicate and work closely with colleagues to maintain smooth processes.

- Gross hourly wage of €14.80 (excluding allowances).
- Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
- Flexible hours: part-time from 16 hours, full-time up to 40 hours.
- Evening allowance of 8.75% after 20:00, 11.25% after 00:00.
- 8% holiday allowance and a solid pension scheme.
- Transportation provided from Utrecht Central Station.

Job Requirements
We are looking for a motivated and flexible team player ready to contribute to efficient night logistics operations.
- Available to work from 20:00 to 04:30.
- Immediate availability for at least 16 hours per week.
- Experience in logistics is a plus, not mandatory.
- Proficient in Dutch and/or English communication.
- Physically capable of standing and walking during shifts.
