Operator 5 shifts

As an operator at Perfetti Van Melle, you will contribute to the heart of our packaging operations, ensuring that our beloved candy brands, including Mentos, reach customers around the globe in perfect condition. You'll tackle the key challenges of maintaining a seamless production flow and upholding the highest quality standards. We're looking for someone with experience in machine operation, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for the food industry, ready to work in a 5-shift system.

Responsibilities:

• Operation: oversee the packaging line, swiftly addressing any minor malfunctions and coordinating with the technical team for more complex issues
• Collaboration: work closely with fellow operators, providing assistance to ensure department-wide operational efficiency
• Supply management: keep the production line well-stocked with necessary materials, avoiding any downtime
• Quality control: perform regular checks, report any deviations, and suggest improvements to uphold product standards
• Teamwork: engage actively with a medium-sized team, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment

• Salary: €3200 - €3600 per month.
• Temporary contract with a view to permanent.

You will be working at Perfetti Van Melle at the Breda location, which is easily accessible and close to the highway. The work atmosphere is informal, and you will be part of a team full of enthusiastic colleagues. At the Breda site, Mentos production takes place in the preparation department, after which the finished product is sent to the packaging department.

When you start as an operator at Perfetti Van Melle, your first day will include an introduction to the safety regulations through an e-learning module. Additionally, you will be paired with a colleague who will make sure you know exactly what is expected of you and what needs to be done daily on the shop floor.
