About the position
As a platte kar chauffeur at Plant World, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth flow of logistics within our greenhouse. You’ll be responsible for moving large plant containers efficiently and accurately, contributing to the overall success of our operations. This role requires a hands-on mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt during busy periods, such as Mondays. You’ll work in a collaborative and informal team environment where mutual support and teamwork are key.
What You Will Do:
- Transporting plants: using a flat cart to move large plant containers to designated locations within the greenhouse.
- Supporting colleagues: assisting with tasks such as packing during peak periods or at other locations when needed.
- Optimizing logistics: ensuring plants are delivered to the right place at the right time to maintain smooth operations.
- Developing skills: learning to operate the flat cart efficiently and improving your technique over time.
- Fostering teamwork: contributing to a positive and cooperative atmosphere within the team.
What we offer
At Plant World, we believe in creating a stable and supportive environment where your contributions are truly valued. Here’s what you can expect when you join our team:
- Salary between €2550 and €2700 per month (38 hours).
- Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
- Full-time workweek of 38 to 40 hours.
- Fixed working hours: Mon-Thu (7:30-16:00), Fri (6:30-15:00).
- Extra breaks on warm days in the greenhouse.
- An informal, international atmosphere with a close-knit team.
Job Requirements

- Experience with physical work in a logistics setting.
- Willingness to work longer hours on Mondays.
- Ability to work independently and accurately in a greenhouse.
- Flexibility to assist at other locations during busy periods.
- No diploma required, but eager to learn and motivated.
