About the position
As a driver license C, you will contribute to maintaining a clean and livable environment in Haarlem and its surroundings. Your role involves driving collection vehicles through the charming yet narrow streets of Haarlem, working closely with a dedicated team to ensure efficient waste collection and container emptying. Safety, teamwork, and efficiency are at the heart of what you do, and your early morning starts mean you’ll often have your afternoons free to enjoy.
What You Will Do:
- Drive: safely operate our collection vehicles and navigate through narrow streets.
- Collaborate: work closely with a fixed team of loaders to collect household waste and PMD.
- Rotate tasks: alternate between driving and assisting with loading to maintain a fair work rhythm.
- Inspect: conduct safety and maintenance checks on vehicles before and after shifts.
- Contribute: ensure a safe and pleasant working environment by adhering to safety protocols.

- Monthly salary between €2,934 and €3,501 gross.
- Temporary contract with the prospect of permanent employment.
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
- 15% personal benefits budget on top of your salary.
- 28.5 vacation days annually (based on 40 hours).

Job Requirements
We are looking for a safety-conscious and collaborative driver who thrives in a dynamic outdoor environment.
- Valid C driving license and Code 95 certification.
- VCA certificate or willingness to obtain it.
- Proficient in English. Preferably, you understand Dutch as well.
- Comfortable working outdoors and taking a hands-on approach.
- Problem-solving mindset and strong team player.
