About the position
At Uniekaas, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our cheese products meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. As part of our production team in Kaatsheuvel, you’ll work with state-of-the-art equipment to prepare and process cheese blocks for the next stage of production. This is a physically demanding yet rewarding role, offering opportunities to grow your skills and contribute to the legacy of the oldest cheese brand in the Netherlands.
Your responsibilities will include:- Preparing and positioning 15 kg cheese blocks on your workstation for processing.
- Using advanced machinery to carefully remove the outer crust of the cheese.
- Transporting processed cheese to the next production stage using an EPT (training provided if needed).
- Maintaining a clean and safe workstation after each shift.
- Collaborating with your team to meet daily production goals in a 3-shift system (morning, afternoon, and night).
What we offer
- You earn a base salary of €17.31 gross per hour, excluding allowances.
- Shift allowances: 130% in the evening (18:00–22:00) and 140% at night (22:00–07:00).
- Performance bonus: earn up to €2.00 extra per hour based on your results.
- You work full-time in stable 3-shift rotations from Monday to Friday.
- You receive 8% holiday pay and 20 vacation days plus 4 days in a flex budget.
- Travel allowance from 10 km, with higher amounts for longer distances.
- Prospect of a permanent contract after a temporary period.
- On-the-job training, including the chance to get your EPT certificate.

- Start People is on-site several days per week for questions and support.
