Industrial cleaner

As a tent maintenance worker, you will contribute to the dazzling world of events, ensuring that the tents used at festivals and sports events across the globe are in pristine condition. Your role is pivotal in providing thousands with unforgettable experiences, facing challenges such as meticulous material inspections and operating heavy machinery in a team that values hard work and visible results.

Responsibilities:

• Inspection: meticulously examine tent materials for any faults or damages.
• Cleaning: wash and maintain tent fabrics, so they shine for the next event.
• Machinery: operate industrial washing and drying machines and high-pressure cleaners.
• Lifting: collaboratively handle and fold heavy tent materials with your team.
• Teamwork: work closely with colleagues to complete all tasks efficiently and safely.

You work in dayshifts from 07:00 till 16:30, including 30 minutes break.

• Salary range from €2,446 to €2,853 per month.
• Temporary contract with potential for permanent employment.
• Full-time workweek of 40 hours.

• Speaks Dutch, English, or German

The company rents and sells temporary tents and structures for large events and festivals worldwide. Next time you're at Tomorrowland, you can proudly say that you helped build the massive tents on display there. In addition, the temporary buildings are used for schools, offices, and emergency housing.

The workplace is a large industrial site with various departments and buildings. The team consists of 15 physically strong workers from different nationalities. The team leader provides daily instructions and also works alongside the team. Learning the Dutch language is encouraged, and in the workshop, colleagues enjoy chatting with each other. The team loves hard work and tackles each job together to get it done every day.

The required work attire includes safety shoes, a company sweater, and a shirt, which are provided by the company. The company is located in Kessel and is easily accessible from Roermond, Venlo, and Weert. There is plenty of parking space, but the site is not accessible by public transport.
