About the position
As a logistics employee at GLS, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse during night shifts. Your role is essential in ensuring packages are sorted and handled efficiently, meeting safety and quality standards. You will face challenges such as managing time pressure, adapting to changing circumstances, and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment. What You Will Do:
- Sorting: ensuring packages are accurately scanned, sorted, and stacked for delivery.
- Handling equipment: operating tools like hand pallet trucks or electric pallet trucks (EPT) safely and effectively.
- Inspecting: identifying deviations, including hazardous materials (ADR), and reporting them to the team leader.
- Maintaining safety: adhering to quality, safety, and environmental guidelines as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Contributing: keeping the workspace clean, organized, and safe while supporting other warehouse tasks as needed.

- Salary of approximately €3,000 per month (based on 40 hours).
- Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
- Part-time role with a minimum of 16 hours per week.
- Holiday pay and allowances ranging from 8.75% to 11.25%.
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer.
- Training to operate electric pallet trucks (EPT).
- Flexible hours to balance work, studies, or family commitments.
Job Requirements

- Proficient in Dutch or English.
- Willing to work night shifts.
- Physically fit for hands-on warehouse tasks.
- EPT certificate is a plus (training provided).
- No prior experience required; full training available.
