About the position
As a logistics medewerker at GLS, you will play an essential role in ensuring that packages are processed efficiently and reach their destinations on time. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll face the challenge of performing physically active tasks while maintaining accuracy and teamwork. Your proactive attitude and ability to adapt to a dynamic setting will be key to your success in this role.
What You Will Do:
- Unloading: handle the unloading of trucks filled with packages.
- Sorting: organize packages based on their destination to streamline the delivery process.
- Loading: stack and load packages into trucks for timely dispatch.
- Supporting: assist with cleaning and tidying up the workspace to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
- Physical tasks: engage in walking, standing, and lifting throughout your shift.

- Hourly salary of €14.99 (excluding allowances).
- Temporary contract with the prospect of permanent employment.
- Flexible workweek of 8 to 40 hours.
- Shift allowances: 8.75% (20:00-00:00), 11.25% (00:00-05:00).
- Travel reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometer.
- 8% holiday allowance and weekly or 4-weekly salary payments.
Job Requirements
We are looking for a motivated logistics employee who thrives in a dynamic and physically active environment.
- Available Monday to Friday, 15:00-23:00 or 23:00-08:00.
- Physically capable of performing active, hands-on tasks.
- Comfortable working in a cold warehouse environment.
- Proactive, team-oriented, and flexible in daily responsibilities.
